Milie Veronneau

Originally from Montreal, Milie first started dancing at a very young age before she graduated with a dance diploma from Collège Montmorency in Laval. She then graduated in 2022 from the Contemporary Dance Diploma Programme at The School of Dance in Ottawa where she learned under the tutelage of choreographers such as Sylvie Desrosiers, Heidi Strauss, Riley Sims, Emmanuelle Lê Phan, Yvon Soglo, Marie-Michelle Darveau, Yvonne Coutts, Calder White, and many others. Milie is a contract worker in Montreal’s music videos and film industry, having participated in the projects of well known artists such as Vincent Vallières, Sophie Deraspe, Klô Pelgag, among others. She choreographed her own piece, fissures, which was presented in 2023 at the Ottawa Fringe Festival, and has since her graduation danced in pieces by Ludmylla Reis, Jocelyn Todd and Sylvie Desrosiers. Milie has relentlessly pursued her own creative development, refining her energetic, theatrical and fluid style and creating dance that mixes contemporary and urban dance concepts as well as theatre and other styles.
