Manuel Roque
April 4 to 8, 2022, 9:30 to 11:30 am
Renew the pleasure of dancing over and over again with Manuel Roque‘s classes. You will explore the notions of physical experience, rootedness, musicality and spatial awareness.
Manuel had a short stint with the Cirque Éloize before turning his attention to dance. In addition to his career as a dancer working with leading Quebec choreographers, Manuel Roque creates his own choreographic forms.

Want to unleash your movements while protecting your body? Then classes given by Sovann Rochon Prom-Tep are tailor-made for you! Drawing on acrobatics, participants will learn to develop an ease with weight transfers, thereby freeing their bodies from their verticality.
Sovann, alias “Promo”, joined the break dance group Sweet Technique at a young age. He went on to take part in numerous battles with the group. After graduating from the EDCM in 2015, he refined his dance approach through his own creations and his workshops.

Sara Hanley

Sara Hanley’s classes are inspired by Alexander and Releasing techniques and functional anatomy. Through various exercises, you will dive back into the core of your body to create dances infused with spontaneous and creative impulses.
Sara’s involvement as an artist in the contemporary dance community dates back some 20 years. Trained as a dancer, she has contributed to the creations of numerous choreographers, including Sylvain Émard, Dominique Porte and James Viveiros. Sara Hanley has been teaching dance since 2008.

Lucie Vigneault

Sharpen your performance senses through classes given by Lucie Vigneault. Participants explore various memorization strategies outside of recognized codified techniques.
Lucie has worked as a dance artist for more than 20 years. She has taught technique, performance, creation and dance history at the college and university levels. In addition, she has extensive experience in the circus arts and in theatre and opera, and she works with professional and amateur dancers in large-scale productions.

In order to be allowed into the RQD multiregional classes, you are required to observe the following guidelines before going to class. Failure to do so will result in your being denied access.
- Fill out our registration form.
- Fill out your Services Québec participant form. It will be valid for all multiregional classes that you will attend during the current spring session.
- Pay on site for the classes you have selected.

The Regroupement québécois de la danse’s multiregional classes are offered in collaboration with L’Artère, art de la danse et du mouvement, Compagnie de danse Sursaut, and Danse Laurentides.
