—
Through ballet and modern dance the body is able to discover new possibilities of relating to space and time.
During the workshop we will learn and make use of William Forsythe’s Improvisation Technologies to improve the awareness of our bodies. The Improvisation Technologies are concepts and methodologies which enables each dancer to choose a departing point and explore what other possibilities can be developed from it. We will listen and respond to each others movement while creating our own physical speech. The methods and technologies are there for us to convert them into tools that give us more freedom, consciousness and quality in our dance.
