Festival – Dancing in the Park ONLINE 2021
Dancing in the Park ONLINE 2021, presented by Toy Guns Dance Theatre brings you 4 distinct programs of dance film and discussion from artists across Canada and beyond!
SEPTEMBER 16-19 — Every night at 6PM PDT // 7PM MDT // 9PM EDT
Catch the entire festival for FREE live on YouTube!
In its second online iteration, the festival is once again moving from the Edmonton Legislature grounds to the virtual world, bringing artists and audiences together from across the country and the world. This year, you can expect more bold, expansive and curious works that explore the lines between mediums: dance, film, sound, animation, poetry, nature, bathtubs and more!
Each program includes a post-show talkback with the artists to engage in an open discourse about their experiences and speculations of art-making and witnessing in 2021 and their thoughts on the expansions and intersections of dance, film, performance and digital art.
