Marie-maxime Ross
A graduate of the École de danse contemporaine de Montréal in 2020, Marie-Maxime Ross is renowned for her artistic sensibility. During her studies, she was awarded the prestigious Hnatyshyn Foundation bursary for young artists in contemporary dance.
In recent years, she has worked as a performer for the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal, Destins Croisés and Jardins de Métis, as well as co-producing and co-directing short films.
A native of Rimouski (Quebec, Canada), it’s important to her to keep art alive in her native region. In 2021, she became the first artist-in-residence at Rimouski’s École de danse Quatre-Temps. Since then, she has also collaborated with the Musée régional on various creations.
Her artistic approach is marked by slowness, partnering, improvisation and, above all, floor work.
