Alexandra Maclean
Alex is oroginally from Nova Scotia where she studied at the Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts in Halifax as well as the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School. She holds a BFA in dance from the Ailey/Fordham program in New York City. Upon graduation she danced professionally with Dakshina/Daniel Pheonix Singh Dance company in Washington DC before moving to Montreal where she worked with different choroegraphers including Eva Kelarova, Emmanuelle Martin, Eddy Toussaint , Valerie Sabbah and Johanne Gour with whom she has taken part in multiple pieces and toured the piece D'arreche pied jusque'au bout de tes doigts in the Vancouver and Winnipeg Fringe festivals. Alex has also worked commercially as a dancer on a resort in Los Cabos, Mexico. She has performed at Place des Arts, la Spect'art de Remouski and the MAI. She also works as a teacher in various recreational, compeititive, pre-professional and community settings.
