Take advantage of this training workshop to better define and articulate your artistic approach. Develop a critical view of your writing and apply the methods suggested by Sophie Michaud to express your artistic purpose in a clear, concise manner. With the help of practical exercises, learn to present your creation project in precise, convincing terms.
Learning goals
- To structure ideas and intentions clearly in writing.
- To develop an intelligible vocabulary appropriate for one’s artistic approach.
- To exercise a critical viewpoint towards one’s writing.
- To articulate the project, the approach, and the proposal in accordance with the criteria and requirements of grant and scholarship programs.

Take advantage of up to three (3) hours of personalized accompaniment with the instructor after the group training session.

- Part I : Thursday, January 20, 2022, from 9 :30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Part II : Friday, January 21, 2022, from 9 :30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Personalized accompaniment: from January 22 to March 4, 2022.
Instructor
For thirty years, Sophie Michaud has accompanied the creation process in contemporary dance in her roles as rehearsal director, assistant choreographer, and dramaturgy adviser. The wide range of her experiences, including her graduate studies in dance, informs her understanding of issues related to dance and of the vision of the dance-makers whom she has supported.

- Once you have completed your participant form and made your payment, you will receive the Zoom link to participate in the training.
