Quebec touring networks and my positioning – La DSR
This training will help you develop key market positioning strategies, get to know and understand Quebec touring networks, and make them your allies.
Training offered in French only
Do you dream of taking your show on the road in Quebec? This training will give you the tools you need to knock on the right doors and approach the right presenters. It will improve your general knowledge of dance market development and promotion in Quebec.
After identifying the characteristics of your artistic approach and of the productions you intend to tour, the instructor will help you find the venues most likely to present your projects.
You will also learn about the essential steps in the life cycle and development of a show, with the aim of facilitating the professional relationship with the presenter.
Finally, we will explore how these networks (ROSEQ, Réseau Centre, Réseau Scènes, Objectif scène, Accès culture, RIDEAU, etc.) work, with special emphasis on programming timelines, touring criteria, loca touring conditions, etc.
A participant booklet as well as practical exercises will be available online during the training.
