Victoria “Vic Versa” Mackenzie teaches freestyle techniques, including different concepts like changing music selection, and performative and non-performative modes. The goal is to facilitate your adaptation to varied situations that ask you to access all your physical possibilities. Time will be devoted to techniques for engaging with the floor, in order to access freestyle at all levels.

  • Long-sleeved shirt or hoodie (for floorwork)
  • Knee pads

Dancer, teacher, facilitator, and choreographer, Victoria “VicVersa” Mackenzie grew up in Toronto. She has performed locally and internationally with Tentacle Tribe, Helen Simard, Katya Montaignac and Cirque du Soleil, as well as in her own work with VicVersa Productions, namely at festivals like Breakin’ Convention, Summer Dance Forever, and Urban Moves Oslo. As a teacher, she gives punctual workshops in Montréal, Toronto and abroad. Her classes primarily focus on floorwork, break and freestyle.

 

 

Advance registration and payment required

  1. Fill out registration form.
  2. Fill out your Services Québec participant profile. This form will be valid for all the classes you will take in Montréal for the current session, ending March 2, 2023.
  3. Pay for classes via Interac before presenting yourself to class.
