Parts+Labour_Danse is composed of two Montreal choreographers who work collaboratively.

Emily Gualtieri and David Albert-Toth explore the ambiguities of the human experience in dynamic works that charm and challenge. Pitting the concrete against fantasy, collaboration is the key word in their creative universe, shaped by the contributions of the artists intimately involved in their creative process. They have been producing their works since 2011 across Canada, winning various awards and nominations over the years. The choreographic methods they devise involve a call-and-response approach that has given rise to the company's unique vocabulary, which places the performer between script and spontaneity. Marked with a distinct physicality, their works play freely with theatrical codes in an effort to propel their audiences into unexpected and exciting experiences that explore our dreams and regrets, from our innermost reflections to the furthest limits of our expression.
